St. Vincent Meals on Wheels’ offices are open for essential visitors daily from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
We strongly encourage anyone whose business can be completed by phone or video call to use that option rather than visiting the facility.
If you do need to visit the facility, please let us know that you are coming by calling our main number 213-484-7775 and speaking with the front office staff or leaving a message with the staff person that you will be visiting who can add your name to our expected visitor’s log.
Please do not come to the facility if you are experiencing any symptoms as you will not be admitted.
All persons entering the facility must be over the age of 18. Face masks must be worn at all times while within the SVMOW facility. Cloth or multiple layer surgical style masks are acceptable. Bandanas or any mask that has a valve in it are not allowed to be worn as a face covering within the SVMOW facility. Face masks must completely cover the nose and mouth at all times. If a face mask is sliding off or below the nose, the visitor will be asked to leave the facility until they can fix the fit of the face mask.
Once you have arrived at the facility, you will be required to complete a wellness checklist and take your own temperature utilizing the posted thermometers which are located at each entrance of the facility and sanitize your hands before entering the facility. You will be accompanied inside the facility and guided to the office of the staff person that you need to meet with. The staff person that you meet with will escort you out once you have completed your business.
While inside the St. Vincent Meals on Wheels’ facility, please utilize the hand sanitizer provided and sanitize your hands frequently and before and after touching any commonly touched surfaces such as doorknobs, chair arms, pens, etc. We recommend that you sanitize your hands a minimum of one time per hour. Please do this even if you do not feel you have touched a commonly touched surface during that hour. Also, please sanitize your hands with the provided sanitizer before you enter and after you leave each office/room and the facility itself.
If you have questions about this Visitor Procedure, please contact our offices and ask to speak with a supervisor prior to your visit to our facility.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we keep each other safe from COVID-19.
