Our meals are nutritious-and delicious! They are well-balanced and varied. Clients on special diets receive customized meals such as:
Low Sodium
We don't add salt to foods that are labeled low-sodium. And we don't include ham, cold cuts, beets and other salty foods in our low-sodium menu selections.
Renal Diets
Renal diets are appropriate for clients who are on dialysis or have kidney problems. Renal diets are low in sodium and potassium. Some of the foods that aren't available on our renal diet menu include tomatoes, potatoes, wheat bread, cheese, spinach, broccoli, bananas and oranges.
Fruit
This means no sugar desserts. These menu selections are appropriate for clients who are diabetics or pre-diabetics.
We also provide kosher & vegetarian meals, such as substituting a bean and cheese burrito for pork chop with orange sauce. Or, for our clients who cannot tolerate raw salad, we will substitute peas or hot buttered carrots for salad.
